Established In 2020
Founded in 2020 by the dynamic duo Marc and Kaitilin Newman, The Social began as Wine Social, a haven for wine enthusiasts. With a shared passion for exquisite wines and a vision of creating a welcoming community, Marc and Kaitilin transformed their dream into a vibrant reality.
Starting with intimate tastings and social gatherings, Wine Social quickly became a beloved spot for wine lovers to connect and explore together. Wine Social has always been regionally driven yet globally inspired. Nestled in the heart of Richland, we’re not just about wine – we’re about places, people, and their stories.
As the community grew, so did our vision. In 2024, Wine Social evolved into The Social, expanding its horizons beyond wine & spirits to embrace a broader array of social experiences, through the addition of a full-service restaurant.
Today, The Social is not just about savoring exceptional wines, cocktails, and food, but also about fostering connections, celebrating shared passions, and creating unforgettable moments. Marc and Kaitilin’s dedication to hospitality and community continues to be the heart and soul of The Social, making it a cherished place for all who walk through its doors.
